Why We Love Winter?
For most representatives of the fairer sex, winter is not the most favorite time of the year. In winter, even in not overly cold weather, we have to wear hats and gloves, put on warm scarves and sweaters, struggle to tap the phone buttons with frozen fingers, shine with a red nose against the white snowy background, and endure other delights of winter weather. However, we must learn to maintain optimism, even with wet feet and a sore throat.
During the winter period, we can find our own pleasures. And quite significant ones too!
In winter, we can give up high heels. After all, it’s much more convenient to move around in flat-soled shoes on worn paths and snowdrifts. There’s no need to rush into every cafe or run to an available bench to give our legs a rest.
We can be absolutely relaxed about our wardrobe, especially during a walk with our loved ones or friends – because the lack of a fancy outfit can be hidden under a winter coat or a warm puffer jacket. And a bad hairstyle can be concealed under a hat or hood.
In winter, we wear thick warm sweaters and pullovers, so when we dress up in beautiful dresses for the holidays – we feel irresistible. After all, evening gowns have a special ability to give a royal posture and, even, visually reduce a couple of sizes after thick sweaters.
We can wear dark-colored clothing and not feel like a “crow,” because everyone around is wearing bright and colorful outfits. However, in winter we have a huge selection of various accessories! These include fun gloves, quirky hats, warm scarves and tights, knitted socks, and even lip balm.
In winter, we love to sit at home, wrapped in a warm blanket, with a cup of tea and some treats. Therefore, a couple of extra kilograms that cling to our sides during this pleasant activity are not very noticeable. And for about six months we forget about diets. All problems will be solved later and urgently! But for now, under warm sweaters, coats, and puffers – nothing is visible!
And finally, we love winter for the fact that New Year is coming soon. Grand discounts start in the stores, festive illuminations light up in the streets, and we start thinking about gifts for friends and loved ones. The pre-New Year period arrives.
So why shouldn’t we love winter?
