What to do on a weekend?

After a bustling work week, the blessed Friday has arrived!

Realizing this fact, we urgently start making plans for the next two days. During this time, we need to – catch up on sleep, relax, meet with friends, tidy up the apartment, do laundry and ironing, visit parents, get a manicure and pedicure… The list can go on indefinitely! And the more we think about it, the more our mood declines – there just won’t be enough time for everything planned…

How can we spend the upcoming weekend productively, how to bring body and soul into order, and how to manage everything? Here are a few simple and effective ideas for Saturday and Sunday.

1.   Free up time for rest on weekends by properly prioritizing during the weekdays. On a weekend, you can dedicate an hour or two to plan some tasks for the weekend throughout the week. For instance, grocery shopping, going to the gym, responding to emails, or “hanging out” on social media – these can be done on weekdays. Then you will have more time for personal relaxation on Saturday and Sunday.

2.   Get rid of extra pounds. Spring will soon arrive, followed by summer. The season of vacations, swimsuits, and sundresses will begin. To welcome summer in a few months fully prepared, you need to start working on your body now. If you regularly visit a gym – that’s great. But unfortunately, such people are in the minority among us. However, you can also work on your weight at home. So, urgently find a suitable exercise program online and start working out this Saturday!

3.   Relax with a face mask and restore your skin’s youth after the winter frost. If your facial skin is in poor condition, you should first visit a cosmetologist in a salon. They will recommend a skincare routine for home. If you need to restore your skin’s youth and glow – you can use “grandma’s” tips and make a face mask from available home products. While you lie with a mask on your face, you have time to think about your life or simply relax.

4.   Prepare a tasty healthy dish for yourself. If you’re going to focus on beauty and health, you must start with proper nutrition. After all, it is well known that everything we eat reflects on our face.

5.   Call a friend. Friends come in different types:

–  “The Shoulder” – this is the one you can cry to about all your problems. She’ll listen quietly, nod her head, and sometimes comment on your “tears.” With such a friend, you can pour out your soul and express all the accumulated grievances and complaints.

–   “The Instigator” – this friend is always ready for any adventure. With her, there is no time to be bored or feel gloomy!

–   “Kindred Spirit” – you have known each other since kindergarten or school. She knows you well and accepts you as you are. You don’t have to pretend or try to look better than you actually are 🙂

–   “The Emergency” – always available and ready to help. If you need to rush somewhere, go shopping, or take a walk in the park with a dog – she will never refuse and is always there to assist.

–   “The Teacher” – usually these are friends older than you. If a problem arises or you feel lost in life – “the teacher” will always listen and give thoughtful advice based on her life experience.

6.   Transform from a brunette to a blonde. In one regard, all the psychologists in the world agree: if a woman decides to change her life – she will start with her hairstyle. The weekend is just the right time to choose a new haircut and hair color, as well as get used to the new image and find makeup for the new you. Why not! If something goes wrong with the new hair color – there’s time for adjustments 😉 😉

This is the smallest list of tasks for the weekend. The main thing is to start spending weekends productively, and then you can significantly expand the list and program of “proper activities” and use your time not for aimless “lazing” on the couch in front of the TV, but for improving your life.
