The More Strengths, the Less Stress

Modern women can do several things at once – work, take care of a child, cook lunch, and manage to watch TV with one eye.

Therefore, they have two simple desires: to have more energy and as little stress as possible. If you recognize yourself in this, we offer you some simple exercises from yoga practice.

Of course, everyone has heard that yoga is closely related to proper breathing. We breathe all our lives, since birth, and, of course, we are convinced that we do it correctly. In reality, breathing is often disrupted – this is caused by constant tension and tightness. You can conduct a home experiment: lie on the floor, place your palms on your stomach, and take a few deep breaths in and out. If your stomach drops during inhalation, your breathing may trigger an increase in stress hormone. Conduct the experiment again: inhale through the nose so that the air fills the entire chest first, and then the stomach. Exhale also through the nose, allowing the chest and stomach to gradually lower. Let’s repeat the exercise several times. Almost immediately, you will feel calmer.

To increase energy in the body, you can try the practice of breathing through one nostril. This is a very effective technique in yoga practice. When feeling fatigued, to perk up, use the thumb of your left hand to close the left nostril. Inhale deeply through the right nostril, counting to five. Breathe the same way as before – first fill the chest with air, then the stomach. Exhale slowly.

To calm your body – breathe through the right nostril. Use the thumb of your right hand to pinch the right nostril and inhale, counting to five. This exercise helps calm the heartbeat and lower blood pressure.

These three simple exercises from yoga practice will help you enter a calm state, reduce stress, or perk up.
