About Celery

Celery came to Russia during the reign of Catherine II. For a long time, it was not consumed – it was simply considered a decorative plant.

Over the years, all the beneficial properties of celery were studied, and this vegetable became a cultivated plant. Celery can be eaten completely: root, leaves, and stems. After a while, breeding scientists developed different varieties of celery – leaf and root.

Thanks to the unique substances contained in it, the root of celery has no analogues in its health benefits. Only ginseng can compare with it.

The root of celery can be eaten daily. This will help strengthen your immune system and prevent the development of certain diseases. With daily consumption of celery root, vitamins A, C, E, B group, and trace elements – potassium, boron, iron, magnesium, selenium, calcium, manganese, sodium, chlorine, sulfur, zinc, phosphorus – enter the body. Additionally, the roots contain essential oils that help fight tumors and serve as an excellent diuretic.

Celery root helps with anemia, low blood counts, and exhaustion due to its high iron content. Its magnesium content positively affects the nervous system. Celery root improves well-being and physical condition, enhances tone, and boosts metabolism – which is why it is indispensable for weight loss. It heals heart and vascular diseases, lowers blood pressure, alleviates irritability, helps relieve stress, and stimulates attention and memory.
