The Alley of Floating Umbrellas in St. Petersburg
In St. Petersburg, it has already become a good tradition to create an Alley of Floating Umbrellas every year. It is located in the city center on Solyany Lane.
Residents and guests of the city come there to take pictures with this beauty. It is always fun and crowded. Various events and contests take place under the umbrellas, in which everyone is welcome to participate.
This year, the summer weather let St. Petersburg down. Shortly after the opening of the Umbrella Alley, heavy rains with gusty winds began. After the first storm, the organizers replaced the broken umbrellas with new ones. But the bad weather came to the city again… Therefore, it was decided to shorten the lifespan of the umbrellas.
We hope that next year the St. Petersburg weather will not let us down and the colorful, cheerful, and multicolored Alley of Floating Umbrellas will return to Solyany Lane!
